All-In-One Design
NAZA simplifies installation and saves space and weight. With the innovative All-in-One design, NAZA contains inner damping, controllers, 3-axis gyroscope, 3-axis gyroscope and barometer in its light and small Main Controller. NAZA can measure and maintain flying altitude, and therefore can be used for autopilot/automatic driving.
Advanced Attitude Stabilize Algorithm
Advanced mix guidance and control algorithms, inherits outstanding flight stability of DJI products, provides excellent maneuverability, thus giving hobbyists a wonderful flight experience.
Multiple Flight Control Mode/Intelligent Switching
Naza-M offers three types of control modes : GPS Atti. Mode(with GPS module), Atti. Mode, Manual Mode. Customer can switch between the three modes to adjust different flight environment even in the specially weak GPS environment. Naza-M also can adjust automatically in the flight environment and intelligently switches between GPS Atti.mode and Atti. Mode to ensure the safety and security of flight.
GPS Module Available/Accurate Position Hold
The plug and play GPS module will greatly enhance the performance for Aerial Photography with accurate Position Hold, Return-To-Home and Intelligent Orientation Control functionalities. With the GPS Module, the multi-rotor will have position and altitude locked accurately even in windy conditions. Hovering accuracy is approximately 2.5m horizontal and 0.8m vertical.
Intelligent Orientation Control (IOC)
Usually, the forward direction of a flying multi-rotor is the same as the nose direction. By using Intelligent Orientation Control (IOC), wherever the nose points, the forward direction has nothing to do with nose direction:
In course lock flying, the forward direction is the same as a recorded nose direction. See the following figures(Mode 1): In home lock flying, the forward direction is the same as the direction from home point to multi-rotor.See the following figures (Mode 2):
Failsafe Mode
If your transmitter supports Fail-Safe , then you can set Fail-Safe output of receiver to input port-U .Naza controller has built-in auto level Fail-Safe function. That means when the communication between MC and transmitter is disconnected, the outputs of all command sticks from controller will go to center point . If your transmitter has only 4 channels, then MC will work in Atti. Mode by default without Fail-Safe function.
Low Voltage Protection
In order to prevent your multi-rotor from crash or other harmful consequences caused by low battery voltage, we have designed two levels of low voltage protection. You can choose not to use them, however we strongly advise use of this protection.
Motor Arm
Naza have four ways to start motor, see the following picture:
In any situation, start the aircraft (include any motor disarm). Need to perform any of the ways of breaking rod. During the flight, should the motor stall, the immediate implementation of the breaking lever starts and the motor will now return to the rotation. This enhances the safety of the aircraft during the flight.
Motor Disarm
Immediate Mode: By using this mode, in any control mode, once motors start and throttle stick is over 10%, motors will stop immediately when throttle stick is back under 10% again. In this case, if you push the throttle stick over 10% in 5 seconds after motors stop, motors will re-start .If you don’t push throttle stick after motors start in three seconds, motors will stop automatically.
Intelligent Mode: By using this mode, different control modes have different way of stopping motors. In Manual Mode, only executing CSC can stop motors. In Atti Mode. any one of following four cases will stop motors: a) You don’t push throttle stick after motors start in three seconds; b) Executing CSC; c) Throttle stick under 10%, and after landing 3 seconds. d) The slope angle of multi-rotor is over 70°, and throttle stick under 10%.
Support Futaba S-Bus And PPM Receiver
Four channels and more than four-channel receiver supportted, also PPM and S-Bus receiver supportted. S-Bus receivers (the general use of the first 8 channels of S-Bus receiver) to optimize the channel connection, the A, E, T, R, U five-channel function set in a channel of X2, uses only one servo cable to the S-Bus and X2 can makes installation quick and easy.
Supported Multi-Rotor Types
NAZA supports six different multi-rotor models to meet the different requirements of all enthusiasts.
Built-In Gimbal Stabilization Function
The gimbal stabilization module is compatible with almost all 2-axis gimbal systems. The system will adjust the gimbal and camera according to the attitude of the helicopter after setting the parameters the first time.
Remote Adjustment And Firmware Online Update
Easy firmware upgrade, extendible port for future use is available
